Room Hire

Follow the guidance below to make a provisional booking. Organisers of meetings and events are required to assess their own needs for the safety and wellbeing of their attendees and to agree to our Terms & Conditions

Totley Rise Methodist Church

We have a number of rooms available for hire for children's parties, classes or meetings for local groups. The TRM Centre is equipped with toilets, including disabled facilities, and a kitchen. There are 25 parking spaces and 3 disabled parking spaces at the Centre.

Note: Rooms are NOT available for hire on Sundays

Safeguarding

It is the policy of the Methodist Church that all users of the premises must take responsibility to prevent physical, sexual or emotional abuse of children, young people and adults with vulnerabilities. Users of the premises must read and abide by the Totley Rise Methodist Church Safeguarding Policy Statement.

COVID-19 Measures

Hirers of our premises are responsible for the safety of their participants, including adherence to government guidance on COVID measures. Hirers should implement social distancing, mask wearing and open windows where this is appropriate.

Alcohol

Please note that alcohol is not permitted on the premises

Inflatable Play Equipment

We are unable to allow the use of inflatable play equipment, including bouncy castles. This is for safety and insurances reasons.

Terms and Conditions of Hire

Hirers will be required to confirm that they have read and agreed to abide by our Terms and Conditions and Safeguarding Policy.

  1. Scroll down to the room required and click "view availability"

  2. Select room by clicking on dropdown arrow

  3. On the calendar, find the date required and click on the '+' sign

  4. Complete the booking details and submit. New users will need to create an account.

DESCRIPTION OF ROOMS

Main Hall

With a curtained stage at one end and a large wooden floor, the Main Hall has a capacity of up to 120 people. Suitable for classes, large meetings, children's activities or social gatherings, the Hall includes a pull down screen for projection (AV equipment not provided).

Tables and chairs are provided at no charge.

Room hire charge: £15.50 per hour

Room 1

A popular room for groups, small meetings, craft activity and children's parties, this room has a capacity of 50 people. This is a carpeted room with plenty of natural light and supplied with a pull down screen for projection (AV equipment not provided).

Room hire charge £12.50 per hour

Room 2

The smallest of our available rooms, this has a capacity of up to 12 people and is located next to the kitchen for which there is a serving hatch. This room is carpeted. It is suitable for small groups and pre-school children's activities.

Room hire: £9.50 per hour
